Terms of Service

PartyRadar ("PartyRadar", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by PartyRadar Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PartyRadar mobile application, website (partyradar.org), and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Certain events may require proof of age at the door.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
• You must not create an account if you have been permanently banned from the Service.
• If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@partyradar.org if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to the Service, or that have been inactive for more than 24 months.

The Service allows you to post photos, event details, messages, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it you grant PartyRadar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You agree NOT to post, upload, or transmit any content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Infringes any intellectual property, privacy, or other third-party rights
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence
• Promotes or glorifies illegal drug use, underage drinking, or dangerous activities
• Constitutes spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Impersonates any person or entity

We use automated moderation and human review to enforce these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban without refund.

PartyRadar is a platform that connects event hosts and attendees. We are not the organiser of any event listed on the Service unless explicitly stated. Hosts are solely responsible for the legality, safety, and organisation of their events, including obtaining all necessary licences and permits.

PartyRadar does not guarantee the accuracy of any event listing. We strongly encourage attendees to verify event details with the host before attending.

Hosts must comply with all applicable laws, including those relating to alcohol service, noise, fire safety, data protection, and venue capacity. Hosts who create events with inaccurate or misleading information may be permanently banned.

Ticket sales are processed through Stripe. By purchasing a ticket you agree to Stripe'sterms of service.

PartyRadar charges a platform fee of 5% plus £0.30 per ticket on sales processed through the Service, deducted from the ticket price before the host receives their payout.

Refund eligibility is determined by the host's stated refund policy on the event listing. Where no policy is stated, refunds are at the host's discretion. PartyRadar's platform fee is non-refundable.

Host payouts are processed within 7 business days of the event date, subject to Stripe's standard payout schedule and identity verification requirements.

The PartyRadar Wallet allows you to store funds for use at participating venues and for ticket purchases within the Service. Wallet balances:

• Are denominated in GBP and may be displayed in your local currency for convenience only.
• Do not earn interest.
• Are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
• May be subject to a 1.5% transaction fee (minimum £0.12) on card payments at partner venues.
• Can be withdrawn subject to identity verification and a minimum withdrawal amount of £5.00.
• Are forfeited upon account termination in cases of fraud or serious Terms violation.

We hold wallet funds in a segregated client account and do not use them for our own operating expenses.

Certain features require a paid subscription ("Host Plan"). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise PartyRadar to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• You may cancel at any time from the Settings → Subscription page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are issued for partially-used subscription periods.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Downgrading your plan may result in immediate loss of access to features above your new tier.

Apple In-App Purchase: If you subscribe through the iOS App Store, billing is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Cancellations must be made through your Apple ID settings.

Google Play Billing: If you subscribe through Google Play, billing is managed by Google and subject to Google's terms. Cancellations must be made through your Google Play subscription settings.

PartyRadar operates a referral programme under which you may earn a commission equal to 10% of the platform revenue generated by users you have referred — on a lifetime basis. The referral programme is subject to the following rules:

• Referral commissions are credited to your referral balance, not your wallet.
• The minimum payout is £5.00; balances are transferred to your wallet on request.
• Self-referrals are prohibited.
• We reserve the right to withhold or reverse referral commissions obtained through fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
• We may modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time with 30 days' notice.

The PartyRadar name, logo, software, and all content created by PartyRadar are the exclusive property of PartyRadar Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any PartyRadar content without our prior written consent.

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by content on the Service, please contact us at hello@partyradar.org with full details of the alleged infringement.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you consent to our data practices as described therein.

The Service uses location data to show nearby events. You may disable location access in your device settings at any time; doing so will limit certain features.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We are not responsible for the actions of hosts, attendees, or any third party in connection with events listed on the Service. You attend events at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PARTYRADAR AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) £100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PartyRadar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Before bringing a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@partyradar.org and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
